Bánh Giò here is wonderfully soft and silky, with a smooth texture that’s very easy to enjoy. The filling is fragrant and flavorful, without being greasy. It’s served with chả cốm (green rice pork sausage), giò bò (beef sausage), and pickled cucumber, and when you add a little chili sauce, the flavors come together perfectly — truly delicious.

The only small downside for me is the chili sauce: while the seasoning is balanced, the chili base itself isn’t as aromatic as I would personally prefer. Still, overall it’s a great local food experience and definitely worth trying for anyone visiting Vietnam.
